Alter Ego’s jewelry is something completely different in that of itself; creating custom one of a kind pieces from vintage toys, beads, and basically anything you can think of. Erika Walton, a young entrepreneur native to Santa Cruz, started Alter Ego in 2003 and has gained attention from all over the world for her creative ideas. For her brand we wanted to create something as unique as her perspective, using hand drawn type combined with a classic type treatment for her signature.
The Plastic Pollution Coalition is a non-profit organization with the vision of a world free of plastic pollution. Check out their website, designed by Parachute, to learn more about what you can do to relief the impact plastic has on our earth. Working with the PPC has definitely changed our daily decisions and habits in terms of plastic use, especially single use disposables.
Check out this awesome display of all that is Pantone by the Basheer Graphic Book agency, they built this Pantone Rainbow spanning 8 meters and 5,000 colors. Noice.

50 Mile Radius, a local start-up focusing on promoting sustainability as a lifestyle and asking the question: “What Are You Doing to Make a Difference?” Parachute designed this logo with that in mind, and can’t wait to see this business blow up on a national and international scale: great idea + great brand = sky’s the limit. Part of Parachute’s promise and concept was greatly influenced by our location, the one size fits all, Neuner-ific NextSpace, in Surf City California (f#@k off Hunington Beach, we don’t need to trademark every word we speak… knobs). When I looked up the definition of incubator, the first thing that came up was “to grow under conditions that promote development” and the conditions that NextSpace provides are definitely promoting growth and development in so many facets. We’re so stoked to be in such a innovative and collaborative space that fosters free thinking and new ideas. Plus Neuner give me a solid rager! Who’s with me on this?
